FAQ

The Day of The Tour

Let us answer you questions before you can even have to ask!

Meeting location:  Punch Bowl Social (65 S Broadway, Denver CO) Get there are about 15-20 minutes early!

Bring Drinks! We still have to abide by open container laws so bring a sealable, inconspicuous cup.  Most people make a quick stop at the dollar store.  No alcoholic containers can be visible on the bike.

We typically make 3 stops at bars (although we can customize), so no need to over-pack.

We provide a Cooler and Ice!!

Waivers: We will send a link in a text message 2 hours before the tour for everyone to sign, but you can also sign the e-waiver from our website HERE. We will also have a paper waiver on the bike so if someone doesn’t sign the e-waiver, no problem, they can sign right before we ride.

Top 10 Questions

What you’ll want to bring along: Beverages, snacks, signed waiver (unless signed online) and a music playlist!

Snacks: If you want and if you do, we recommend items that can be eaten with one hand like pretzels.

Cooler/Ice: we provide a cooler with ice.

Beverages: We recommend drinking from a re-sealable plastic container like a Nalgene, water, or Gatorade style bottle to limit spilling while onboard.

The Bike-n-Brew Tours are subject to all laws and Regulations of the city they are in.

No glass is allowed!  Please and thank you.

Music: Bring a Playlist for music! (Spotify/Pandora works fine too!). We have an auxiliary cord you can hook up to and play your jams.

Waivers: We will send a link in a text message 2 hours before the tour for everyone to sign, but you can also sign the e-waiver from our website HERE. We will also have a paper waiver on the bike so if someone doesn’t sign the e-waiver, no problem, they can sign right before we ride.

100% Yes! Pedaling is part of the fun!  And don’t worry, our bike purrs like a kitten and is super easy to pedal, and the routes we have through South Broadway are super flat, and super easy to pedal through.  The bike only has 10 seats that actually have pedals, so 5 people get to sit back and relax anyways.

South Broadway Group Tours: Starting Location: In the heaviest density of restaurants & bars on South Broadway so you only have to walk steps for your pre/post gatherings. Booking: You book the entire bike and bring between 8-15 people (per party bike) and the price is fixed on the bike (regardless of the number of people you bring. Route: We typically make 2-3 bar stops and one group photo op stop. The discussion point is where we stop.  We have recommendations that we can talk about when you arrive, but as long as we can find parking we’ll go anywhere.

To see available dates and book your tour, visit our Booking page.

We operate from May through Mid-November, however, if you have a date/time outside of this window just email us at info@denverbikenbrew.com or text (303-630-9657)  and we can help!  We do tours year-round upon request πŸ™‚

For Group tours the minimum is 8 and the maximum is 15.

Seating on the pedal pubs:  Each bike has 12 barstool seats, and 3 seats on the back. 10 of the seats have pedals. The guests typically swap seats at each bar stop so everyone gets a turn to pedal and/or not pedal.  For individual tours typically guests rotate amongst themselves at stops, but just speak up if you want us to help facilitate a swap!

We are the only Party Bike in town offering flat rate pricing for weekends and weekdays.  Our introductory rates are $250 for the 2-hour ride which is between $17-$25/person depending on how many people you have. πŸ™‚

But don't forget to tip your driver!  20% gratuity is typical.

It wouldn’t be a party without music! Just bring your phone or MP3 player and we’ll hook it up to our stereo.  We have lightning / headphone / aux connections on the bike ready to go.

Pro Tip: Create a playlist for your day, or que up Spotify and plug into our stereo.

South Broadway Tours:  Start/End at Punch Bowl Social in the most bar/restaurant heavy area on South Broadway.

Most people prefer that we take care of the route, but if you have a special request to check out a certain area just say the word.  It’s hard enough on you to assemble your group; when you arrive we want you to relax about the decisions, but also these days things change with all the construction, and events that force road closures and parking changes and it can get confusing unless you’re down here often.  The discussion point is where we stop and we have awesome recommendations, but if you have a specific request just let us know right before we take off.  We’ll take you wherever you’d like as long as we can find parking.

Typically we stop at 2-3 bar/restaurant spots for every tour and one photo op stop, but how many you do depends on your pedaling and the amount of time you want to spend at each location.

Something we’re proud of: We refuse to take money from bars to be “partnered” with us so we’re not obligated to take you anywhere you don’t want to go.   It also means some of them offer us better discounts because we’re not charging them to stop, which we completely pass on to you guys.  Aside from what is listed there are also other bars all over downtown that we can go to – just ask us – we have no preference and will steer you towards the places we think you’d like as long as we can find parking near them.

Most importantly: Don’t get stressed out about all the options – the vast majority of people just show up and let us take you around!

You can view and print the waiver HERE.   Email (info@denverbikenbrew.com) or text (303-630-9657) if you need us to bring a waiver for you to sign.

Our Pilots work hard to make sure you have the best experience possible. We suggest about 20% of the booking cost for each group. All of our drivers will accept cash, Venmo or PayPal.

Prep: Before the Tour Starts

Ya we thought of everything to help you have the best time and not forget anything.  Check out the checklist HERE.

All riders must sign the waiver before we depart (We always appreciate those groups that do it before they arrive!)  Each rider must show their ID to ride, and hand in their signed waiver.

View and Print the Waiver HERE.

If Bike-n-Brew judges the weather is subjectively bad enough (thunderstorms, freezing rain, etc), we will notify you at least 2 hours before the tour start time to offer a rain check. You may decide to still go as long as the weather is safe enough to ride. Never assume your ride is canceled.

We ride rain or shine. There is a large roof that overhangs in all directions to protect you from direct rain and we go into bars to dry off. No one likes to get wet when they’re dry, but once you’re wet we can tell you from experience that tours in the rain will often have more fun than not because of how much more ridiculous it makes the experience. Life is what you make of it and a Bike-n-Brew tour is no different πŸ™‚

Please dress appropriately for predicted weather conditions.

For our group tours you bring up to 15 people including yourself and we provide a driver (16th person). As far as the pedaling goes, there are 10 seats with pedals. If you look closely you’ll see there are 12 “BarStools” total (6 on each side) but only 10 total pedaling seats (5 on each side). Each side also has a seat over the wheels, which means they don’t have pedals. Each cycle bar also has a bench in the back that seats 3 people who want a rest or just want to relax.

Passengers shorter than 5’3”  may have a hard time reaching pedals although every pedal pub has adjustable seats.

There is a maximum weight of 300 pounds for people on the bike seats.

The bench at the back of the cycle bar is perfect for those who don’t fit the height and weight limitations.

There are tons of parking spaces on and around South Broadway.  You cannot park in the Punch Bowl Social parking lot unless you will be going into their bar.

We also recommend getting a ride (Uber, Lyft, Cab etc) to the bike location so that you will not have to drive afterwards.  We don't want anyone drinking and driving!

Really, anything can be worn and you’ll be okay, but remember you’re pedaling a bike so consider that when picking out your wardrobe. We do recommend you not wear sandals as they can easily come off while pedaling.

No problem! We have tours where people just want to ride and enjoy the unique experience. The Bike-n-Brew is always a blast and we welcome everyone.

Yes! Decorations can be hung anywhere on the bike with the exception of covering our Bike-n-Brew website address. We recommend zip ties, rope, or string for attachment methods. We do not allow tape as duct tape removes the varnish from the wood and scotch tape is not strong enough to hold.

What to Expect During the Cycle Bar Tour

Bike-n-Brew does not sell or serve alcohol and nothing that appears to be alcohol is allowed on board. No beer cans or glass bottles of any sort. You may bring beverages in resealable plastic or metal containers only. Each bike has room for a standard sized cooler. All Bike-n-Brew Tours are subject to local laws and regulations.

Unfortunately, since the Bike-n-Brew Pedal Bike is all pedal powered, we must start and end at the same place for all tours. But we can customize any route to go wheverever you want if it is reasonable within the 2 hours.

It’s actually illegal for us to provide or serve any alcohol, but the good news is you can bring your own beverages, just make sure they are in a cooler and you are drinking from a re-sealable cup.

Whatever route you want!  Check out some suggestions HERE.  We can plan a route, or wing it!

Have you ever been to a (fun) party without music? C’mon now!  Just bring your phone or mp3 player and we’ll connect it to the stereo on our bike bar.  We have lightning / headphone / aux on every rolling pub.  If your phone requires a USB-C or some other connection just bring it w/ you!

Pro Tip: Create a playlist for your day, or queue up Spotify and plug into our stereo (we’ve got you covered with the hook-ups required and the speakers/stereo).

You can be charged a late fee if you do not return the bike bar to the starting point on time. The time it takes to complete a tour is up to the people pedaling the bicycle bar. The Bar Handler (driver) will assist in keeping you on time. We have test-pedaled all routes and know how long they take. We have never had this be an issue!
